Chapter 13 of Launching the Imagination on the aspects and elements of time has Sam Shere's iconic photo of the dirigible Hindenburg exploding. Sam had to be there at the right time to capture the event. Like many Americans I remember where I was and what I was doing on September 11th 2001. I was on my way to work when the news about the terrorist attacks on New York's World Trade Center came on my car's radio. Just one more iconic photo in time, lest we forget!
