Carl DiSalvo

Carl DiSalvo is an Assistant Professor in the Digital Media Program at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta.  He is involved in what he calls "adversarial design" and has authored a book of the same title.  As Carl has defined it, adversarial design uses digital design media to "challenge beliefs, values, and what is taken to be fact."  He often collaborates with others to explore contemporary political issues in a provocative way using robotics, video, sound, and data visualization.
